Safety Officer
About this position
The Safety Officer is responsible for developing and implementing safety policies and programs, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and promoting safety awareness among employees and subcontractors.
Responsibilities
• Support the development of OHS policies and programs
• Train Safety awareness among employees and Sub-Contractors to following
• Maintain & Improvement for ISO 14001, 45001 and documentation
• Collect information document & report including liaison with relevant government party
• Inspect premises and the work of personnel to identify issues or non-conformity for safety violation
• Record and facilitate incident investigate to determine causes & follow for close
• Prepare reports on occurrences and provide statistical information to supervisor
• Ensuring the workplace is in full compliance with local safety and environmental legislation
• Execute and implement the safety promotional programs
Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Health & Safety or Processes Professional Safety Officer certificate
• Preferable skill of Chemicals and Hazardous Material certificate
• Strong knowledge of compliance to laws and regulation of Safety and Environment in Chemicals Manufacturing
• Good interpersonal skills good analytical and problem-solving capabilities team player and strong communicator
• Knowledge of potentially hazardous materials or practices
• Good computer skills in program Microsoft offices (Word, Excel, Power Point)
• Good command of both written and spoken English.
