Incorporated in 1978, Birla Carbon Thailand (BCT) produces carbon black. Its commercial operations began in 1980 with a capacity of 16,000 TPA. With regular expansions, BCT has achieved a capacity of 240,000 TPA, 15 times its original capacity. BCT is the world’s largest carbon black manufacturing plant at a single location. BCT also has the capacity to produce steam at 370 MT/hour and electricity at 49.7 MW/hour. Products and Applications
Its product, under the brand of “Birla Carbon”, offers a wide range of carbon black for rubber and MRG applications. Almost half of BCT’s production is exported to more than 20 countries across the globe. Mechanical Engineer - ENG is responsible for overseeing the maintenance and installation of equipment in petrochemical or chemical plants, ensuring compliance with safety standards and project timelines.
Responsibilities
• Technical comparison mechanical equipment, Piping BOQ assist Project Manager.
• Participate in Project team to construction New Chemical plant.
• Responsible in Project in part of Structure and equipment installation.
• Coach and develop competencies of maintenance technician.
• Solving any kind of deviation in Project as Mechanical Engineer role.
• Implement Project schedule to meet time frame.
• Co-ordinate with contractor to ensure follow Safety & Health occupation rule.
• Maintenance & PM Chemical plant equipment.
• Implement Good practice standard related with Chemical Plant as ASME, NFPA, API and ect.to compliance regal.
• Task force of PSM team.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Diploma with experience.
• At least 1-8 years’ experience in maintenance equipment of Petrochemical or Chemical Plant.
• Experience in Construction & Commissioning New Chemical Plant is advantage.
• Good command of both spoken and written English.
• Strong leadership, Positive attitude, enthusiasm, Growth learning and analytic thinking.
• Knowledge P&ID, chemical piping standard as well AutoCAD, 3D CAD.
