Incorporated in 1978, Birla Carbon Thailand (BCT) produces carbon black. Its commercial operations began in 1980 with a capacity of 16,000 TPA. With regular expansions, BCT has achieved a capacity of 240,000 TPA, 15 times its original capacity. BCT is the world’s largest carbon black manufacturing plant at a single location. BCT also has the capacity to produce steam at 370 MT/hour and electricity at 49.7 MW/hour. Listed on the Stock Exchange of Thailand since 1992, the company has a market capitalization of Thai Bath 15,975 million (approx. US$485 million) as of 31st October 2018. Located in Angthong province, the company has been awarded the prestigious TPM Excellence Award by JIPM, Japan and the Deming Prize for Total Quality Management
Products and Applications
Its product, under the brand of “Birla Carbon”, offers a wide range of carbon black for rubber and MRG applications. Almost half of BCT’s production is exported to more than 20 countries across the globe. The company’s products meet the stringent quality expectations of customers in Japan, China, Australia, South Korea, Philippines, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam, Taiwan, etc.
• Prepare & Implement preventive Maintenance/ Calibration
• Work as team-mate to initiate Proactive maintenance methodology for improvement of reliability of equipment/ instrument
• Work as team-mate for breakdown root cause analysis and suggest/ implement technological solutions to overcome same.
• Maintenance of instruments like CV, XV, TT, PT, FT, TG, PG, safety valve, PVRV etc
• Monitor maintenance cost on regular basis

Requirements
• Bachelor of Instrument Engineer
• Instrument engineer with 10-15 years maintenance experience in chemical/Petrochemicals industries
• Spoken and written English
• Good interpersonal relations
• Able to work at Maptaphut Industrial Estate, Rayong
