About this position

Logistic Manager - SCM is responsible for overseeing the logistics and supply chain management processes, ensuring timely delivery of products, and maintaining high customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Ensure timely delivery of products to the customer
• Achieve high level of customer satisfaction by understanding their requirements and developing workflows at our end to support the same
• Integrate sales plan, planned inventory levels and customer delivery commitments and co-ordinate to prepare production plan for approx 270 different grades in 4 main plants, while maintaining FG inventory at 15 days level
• As part of freight committee develop shipping partners and negotiate ocean freight for 9 Aditya Birla group companies in Thailand
• Develop and negotiate with vendors for reducing freight cost
• Understand the customers' production process and regulations in customer’s country for deciding packing strategy
• Benchmark and upgrade sale, planning and distribution processes
• Identify creative ways for productive and safe storage of materials in factory

Requirements

• Master’s degree or Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or related field
• At least 10-15 years experience in sales and logistics, freight forwarding in multinational business
• Excellent English proficiency both oral and written skill
• Experience with SAP is a plus
• “Can do” attitude and Hands-On
• Solid analytical skill, planning and strategic thinking, and develop others mindset
• Proactive and good supervision
• Computer literacy
• Inter and intra personal skill
