Production officer– Primary manufacturing (Upstream)
About this position
The role of Production Officer, working in upstream processing area is to assist and execution the experiments and routine activities related to the upstream processing as per the agreed timelines at BioNet - Asia Co., Ltd.
Responsibilities
• Participation for routine activities in upstream processing area.
• Preparation of documents as per the regulatory requirements.
• Scale up of the process as per company strategy.
• Plan and work to accomplish process activities and experiment as per the directions from supervisor.
• Preparation of SOP, logbook and other documents as per the regulatory requirements.
• Compliance to clothing, health and safety practices, Biosafety practices as per the regulatory requirements.
• Handling of equipment, supervision and maintenance follow up with complete documentation.
• Planning for the procurement of indents for various equipment and materials.
• Responsible for implementation of development activities and its related documents as per GXP requirement.
• Responsible for department housekeeping and cleanliness.
• Keep accurate, legible and complete records of all experiment and observation.
• Discuss routinely with supervisor about the status of assigned programs and potential problems.
• Periodic participation in the internal audits, training programs, departmental reviews, meetings etc.
• Other jobs assigned by superiors to support the organization achievement as well as cooperation in company rule and regulations, safety policy and all activities according to company policy.
• Work in compliance with the company’s Health, safety & environment policy and procedures (ISO14001), regulations, requirement and manual and energy management.
• Report any incident, accident, near miss and any violations of the HSE or safe work practices including malfunctioning of the equipment or workplace hazards that he/she is aware of to the direct supervisor.
• Follow the health and safety procedures related to the job functions, which includes the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), safe operation of equipment, machinery, tools and handling of hazardous substances.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s, Master’s degree is preferable.
• 2-5 years of experience in Biological Industry or specialize in upstream processing and conscripted military status only.
• Experience in Fermentation is preferable.
• Good in both written and spoken English.
• Good scientific background and technical skills.
• Good Scientific knowledge of vaccine development & cGMP/GLP and other relevant GxPs.
