About this position
Responsibilities
Planning
• Lead and responsible for the S&OP process within each business unit.
• Utilize historical data, market trends and inputs from sales and marketing teams to ensure regional offices develop accurate and timely bottom-up demand forecast for products.
• Analyze demand patterns and identify factors that may impact demand fluctuations.
• Formulate and develop a set of statistical forecast methodology to address the demand plan.
• Collaborate with Sales Support executives and Sales Managers to consolidate forecast and ensure alignment with overall business objectives.
• Shape forecast for the key sales channel and coordinate with Supply Planning to define individual safety stock level.
• Collaborate with Operations teams in stocks planning and replenishment and allocations to distributor markets in our regional offices.
• Monitor the supply status and coordinate with Sales team for supply allocation decision during constrained situation.
Systems and Processes and Performance Management
• Monitor demand associated metrics such as forecast accuracy, bias error, etc as part of KPI.
• Proactively identify opportunities for demand planning process improvement.
• Generate regular reports and dashboards to communicate demand planning insights, KPI and performance trends to stakeholders and senior management.
• Partake in the demand-related discussions with key account customers.
• Participate in meetings to contribute to the developing strategies and programs which will improve our processes and overall competitiveness.
• Manage the team’s KPIs with the reporting manager and ensuring motivated performance of the team and their welfare.
• Undertake any other ad-hoc projects/ tasks assigned by the Director
Requirements
• Degree holder in Supply Chain Management, Statistics or other Business related discipline
• Relevant experience in a trading & distribution environment with at least 5 years of experience
• A hands-on person with experience in Demand Planning and Shipping Experience with Navision (ERP) will be an added advantage.
• Relevant experience in S&OP or IBP process is required.
• Good proficiency in written and spoken English.
• Proficient in MS Office – Word, Excel, PowerPoint (V-Lookup, Pivot Table)
• Critical thinker with problem-solving skills and able to withstand pressure.
