About this position
Responsibilities
• Event Creation, Planning & Management: Create, develop, plan, and manage exclusive event concepts and annual event plans that align with the company’s marketing and business objectives.
• Service for Space Rentals: Provide excellent service and support for clients renting event spaces, ensuring all needs are met and issues are resolved promptly.
• Coordination with Internal & External Stakeholders: Collaborate closely with internal teams, including marketing, sales, operations, and external partners or vendors, to ensure seamless coordination for all event activities.
• Vendor Management: Identify, negotiate, and manage relationships with external suppliers to ensure quality services and products at competitive rates.
• Event Equipment & Venue Maintenance: Oversee the upkeep and maintenance of event equipment and venues, ensuring they are in optimal condition for every event.
• Budget Oversight: Monitor event budgets, track expenses, and ensure the event is delivered within financial constraints while maximizing value.
• Event Execution: Supervise on-site operations during the event, ensuring smooth logistics, timely execution, and immediate problem resolution.
• Post-Event Reporting: Conduct post-event evaluations, including attendee feedback, budget performance, and ROI analysis to inform future event planning.
Requirements
• Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in event management, with a strong track record of delivering high-end, exclusive events.
• Project Management Skills: Proficiency in event planning software and project management tools to effectively track progress and meet deadlines.
• Leadership Abilities: Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to coordinate diverse teams, both internal and external, toward successful event execution.
• Attention to Detail: Extremely detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to maintaining high standards.
• Negotiation Skills: Ability to negotiate effectively with suppliers and vendors, ensuring high-quality results within budget.
• Service-Oriented Attitude: Strong customer service skills, especially in dealing with clients renting event spaces, to ensure their needs are met.
• Maintenance Oversight: Ability to oversee the maintenance and upkeep of event equipment and venues.
• Stress Management: Capable of handling pressure and navigating challenges, particularly in fast-paced, high-stakes environments.
• Flexibility & Adaptability: Ability to multitask and adapt to last-minute changes or unexpected situations during event preparation or execution.
