Price and Cost Manager
About this position
The Price and Cost Manager is responsible for reconciling inventory data, analyzing costs, advising on business operations, and ensuring compliance with established standards.
Responsibilities
• Reconcile the amount in the STOCK CARD with the GL and review the inventory movement report, including counted inventory in terms of both quantity and price. Record the cost of goods sold, process data from the accounting software, and prepare reports to present to management.
• Analyze, compare, and report on costs, providing recommendations for solutions. Calculate the cost of goods and services based on the annual standard for the company's sales activities. Review the performance of sales and service activities to ensure they adhere to established standards for actual operations.
• Advise on the business of the entire group of companies, conduct research reports on cost acquisition, and plan accurate and complete costing methods with accompanying explanations.
• Review data from the system to compare with standard cost information, such as cost prices and the impact on gross profit, ensuring they align with company policy. Also, check prices in related systems such as POS, EBMS, OSS, ERP, or other relevant systems.
• Review sales data for certified promotions and analyze promotional activities compared to the set standards and actual results.
Requirements
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance
• At least 5 years of experience
• Knowledge of accounting and proficiency in MS Office, Internet Explorer, and accounting software
• Good command of English
• Ability to distinguish cost relationships
• Ability to analyze accounts based on the company's activities
