The plant was established in 1974 and started its production in 1979 in Pathumthani with the production capacity of 150 ton per day. Currently, BGC has 5 glass packaging plants with the largest number of production capacity in Thailand. From just one furnace, today, BGC has grown steadily. The company was incorporated into BG Container Glass Company Limited in the year 2016 and was registered as Public Company Limited in the year 2018 The company is built on a foundation of innovation, advanced production technology and effective performance that can be recognized internationally. About this position

Principal People are seeking a SHE Professional with multiple sites across the BGC this is a fantastic opportunity for a SHE professional who have impressive goals. BGC has a focus on maintaining a fantastic Health and Safety Environmental record. This role will consist of home, office and site-based working and will have responsibility of managing a remote SHE team. Responsibilities

Key responsibilities of the Head of SHE :
• Maintains an excellent health & safety culture
• Promotes the businesses core values
• Supports development and maintenance on internal management system
• Inspires Change and developing SHE ability
• Creates SHE values and inspiring stakeholders continuously improve,
• Promotes a behavioral approach to SHE
• Influences and supporting at all levels across the business
• Promotes the importance of SHE compliance to strategic and operational staff
• Engages with onsite teams

Creating Strategy:
• Identify SHE, current & future challenges, and opportunities
• Develop strategy and implementation plan, aligned with company objectives
• Guide implementation and communication of the strategy.

Engagement:
• Engage with internal and external stakeholders

Requirements

Head of SHE will hold:
• At least 7 years’ experience both in managerial and operational safety, health and environment in industrial environment for central of SHE
• Experience in work cross-functional teams and manage multiple working plant sites (commercial site and manufacturing sites)
• Can analyze complex problems to identify multiple root causes
• Can influence and impact with integrity
• SHE Strategic planning, execution planning cooperates deploying
• SHE team management both direct reporting and dot line reporting
