BGC or BG Container Glass Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Bangkok Glass Public Company Limited, operates in glass packaging business. The plant was established in 1974 and started its production in 1979 in Pathumthani with the production capacity of 150 ton per day. Currently, BGC has 5 glass packaging plants with the largest number of production capacity in Thailand. From just one furnace, today, BGC has grown steadily. The company was incorporated into BG Container Glass Company Limited in the year 2016 and was registered as Public Company Limited in the year 2018 The company is built on a foundation of innovation, advanced production technology and effective performance that can be recognized internationally. About this position

This position will be the owner of Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process, focused on short term and long-term planning and decision-making optimizing customer service levels, operational costs and revenue attainment.

Responsibilities

• Manage the aggregation of the demand plan process across product categories and BUs, producing a rolling 12-18 month estimate of unconstrained future demand in units.
• Conduct rough cut capacity and scenario planning to be able to validate and present data and analytics to facilitate decision making.
• Manage staff to establish S&OP planning processes and ensures that staff are properly trained and in place.
• Develop, monitor and revise production and sourcing plans, in the short and long term, to optimize the use of manpower, equipment and financial resources while meeting the needs of customers.
• Prepare data and material for monthly S&OP meetings that will facilitate decisions around equipment, labor and all other resources needed to support demand over the S&OP planning horizon.
• Assist in the documentation of assumptions incorporated in the demand and supply plan and validate past assumptions.
• Coordinate and facilitate the monthly S&OP meetings to achieve the demand plan consensus including strategic, product, sales, and marketing activities as well as supply plan balance and constraints/gaps.
• Evaluate inventory reports to identify slow moving and obsolete inventories and collaborate with the sales team to develop disposition plans.
• Track performance metrics and analysis to identify both opportunities and potential issues within S&OP.

Requirements

• Strong analytical capabilities and communication/presentation skills are a must as this role will require regular interaction and discussion with senior leadership.
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross functionally with and without formal authority.
• Ability to successfully represent the organization to help navigate sometimes competing priorities.
