BGC or BG Container Glass Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Bangkok Glass Public Company Limited, operates in glass packaging business. The plant was established in 1974 and started its production in 1979 in Pathumthani with the production capacity of 150 ton per day. Currently, BGC has 5 glass packaging plants with the largest number of production capacity in Thailand. From just one furnace, today, BGC has grown steadily. The company was incorporated into BG Container Glass Company Limited in the year 2016 and was registered as Public Company Limited in the year 2018 The company is built on a foundation of innovation, advanced production technology and effective performance that can be recognized internationally. Moreover, the products meet the standards and cover all needs of diverse customers.

About this position

The Researcher position involves exploring, studying, and evaluating material technology and innovation to enhance production efficiency and product quality, while also assessing project feasibility and risks.

Responsibilities

• Explore, study, research and evaluate material technology and innovation in the materials category that will enhance efficiency in the production process and enhance product quality to meet standards and meet market requirement
• Survey and study the problems/requirements of technology in materials within the production process for evaluating the feasibility of technology research and development.
• Assess the possibilities and risks of technology adoption or technology development.
• Propose work plans and budgets for research and development.
• Research and develop technology or innovation
• Plan work with the factory, production unit, marketing unit, Engineering & Technical support team and Technology Commercialization. do a trial production or try it for real to drive commercial use or applying it in a concrete way
• Prepare project progress reports, research results and present research and development results.
• Follow up on the use of research results to develop products, tools, equipment or use them in practice for information for further improvement and/or research and development
• Other tasks as assigned

Requirements

• Master 's or doctorate degree related researching
• 3 years plus for researching experiences directly in research field to be required
• Proven knowledge of research method, process, operation
• Excellent data analysis and data collection
• Good communication, explanation, collaborate and coordinate
• English written and verbal communication well is a plus
• Can work located at Technology Innovation Center of BGC at Thammasart University Rangsit, Pratumthani
