Project Energy Saving Engineer - (ESCO)
About this position
The Project Energy Saving Engineer - (ESCO) is responsible for proposing and implementing energy-saving plans, analyzing energy consumption, and managing projects to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
Responsibilities
• Gather energy technology-related information to propose energy-saving plans for the company.
• Analyze energy consumption data and design energy conservation measures.
• Communicate with assigned clients and visit them to design initial projects based on their requirements.
• Conduct preliminary feasibility studies for various energy-saving projects, analyze and collect client requirements to propose project proposals.
• Participate in defining the Terms of Reference (TOR), sourcing contractors, and comparing technical data from contractors bidding on each project.
• Review engineering designs and technical calculations submitted by contractors for construction approval, ensuring they meet engineering standards.
• Inspect and manage the project site, prepare project data, and provide complete reports on any irregularities.
• Continuously manage and oversee contractors’ work on each project to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
• Plan and supervise the construction process from start to finish, ensuring it aligns with the project timeline and budget.
• Report on work plans and performance on a weekly and monthly basis, including analysis of results and proposing corrective actions for improvement.
• Prepare budget plans and power generation plans for new projects initiated during the year.
• Coordinate and support engineering-related information for internal departments involved in the project, such as Business Development (BD), procurement, and factories, to ensure internal project goals are achieved.
• Coordinate and support information with relevant government agencies, such as the Board of Investment (BOI), Energy Service Companies (ESCO), and the Energy Regulatory Commission (ERC), among others.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• At least 3 years of experience in energy-saving businesses in factories, with preference given to those with experience in ESCO business.
• Experience in auditing and analyzing energy consumption in industrial and building sectors.
• Knowledge of quality management systems, environmental, and safety management across all systems.
• Holding an engineering license (กว.) is an advantage.
• Knowledge of energy conservation and skills in project management.
• Good command of English (TOEIC score of 600 or above).
