Manager of Specifications/Technical (Processed Glass)
About this position
Responsibilities
• Define and set specifications for Value Added Products (Low-E, Temper, Laminate, Insulate, etc. under the BG Brand) by creating and finding the value proposition of these products. Collaborate with the production and specifications teams to create concrete sales opportunities.
• Plan visits and build good relationships with architect clients to encourage and specify BG Float products within various customer segments.
• Establish a technical service team to provide knowledge and product inspections to the sales team and customers, and coordinate with the production team to resolve product complaints.
• Assist in coordinating with the production team to help the sales and marketing teams estimate product production to meet market demands.
• Manage glass product sales to distributors in Bangkok and the surrounding areas, ensuring targets and plans are met.
• Expand business, increase sales, and present new products to boost sales from the existing distributor base in Bangkok and the surrounding areas.
• Propose, plan, and develop sales strategies and bids to achieve company goals, including setting competitive and appropriate market prices.
• Build relationships with new customers to expand the distributor base in Bangkok and the surrounding areas, as well as with project owners, to increase market share according to the set plans.
• Provide continuous support, consultation, and problem-solving to distributors in Bangkok and the surrounding areas, as well as project owners, to ensure maximum customer satisfaction and establish strategic partnerships with clients.
• Oversee and coordinate the production and delivery of products to distributors in Bangkok and the surrounding areas, and project owners, ensuring timely deliveries.
• Follow up and coordinate with relevant departments to resolve issues for distributors in Bangkok and the surrounding areas, and project owners.
• Manage and maintain up-to-date and complete information on distributors in Bangkok and the surrounding areas, and project owners.
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Science, Chemistry, Materials Science, Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
• At least 7 years of experience in specification planning and technical services or a related area.
• At least 3 years of experience in management.
• Proficient in MS Office.
• Good knowledge of English.
