BGC or BG Container Glass Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Bangkok Glass Public Company Limited, operates in glass packaging business. The plant was established in 1974 and started its production in 1979 in Pathumthani with the production capacity of 150 ton per day. Currently, BGC has 5 glass packaging plants with the largest number of production capacity in Thailand. From just one furnace, today, BGC has grown steadily. About this position

The Engineer position involves analyzing and improving the glass forming and annealing processes in the Ayutthaya or Ratchaburi Glass Industry.

Responsibilities

• Analyze the process flow and the bottle glass forming operations.
• Examine problem scenarios and abnormal data related to the forming and glass bottle annealing processes to identify preventive measures and solutions for various issues affecting production efficiency, including process, printing, and machine operation aspects.
• Scrutinize and analyze data from reports on the glass forming and bottle annealing processes.
• Coordinate with support units to collaborate on improving, correcting, and preventing issues in the forming and glass bottle annealing processes to meet established standards.
• Present recommendations and plans for addressing and preventing issues in the forming and glass bottle annealing processes to consistently achieve production goals and quality standards.
• Propose strategies and improvement plans for continuously enhancing the efficiency of the forming and glass bottle annealing processes.
• Monitor and oversee projects and activities aimed at enhancing the efficiency of the forming and glass bottle annealing processes, ensuring successful achievement of goals outlined in the specified plans.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Proficient in English communication.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Office.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and CNC programming.
• Knowledge of activities to enhance various production outcomes.
