Responsibilities
• Overall development of designated business operations, broadening the integration of services across the programs.
• Establishes operating procedures consistent with the client requirements, policies and objectives and ensures their execution.
• Handle the entire manufacturing operations.
• Ensure that the production operations follow the company’s standards, policies and practices.
• Ensures that organization activities and operations are carried out in compliance with local, state, federal, and country specific regulations.
• Controls budgets and exercising control over capital and operating expenditure.
• Coordinates plant activities through close planning with various managers to ensure that manufacturing objectives are accomplished in a timely and cost-efficient manner.
• Plans and monitors maintenance tasks for the plant and its equipment and machinery.
• Controls the maintenance budget and expenses.
• Organize staff training to increase the efficiency of work.
• Control the use of raw materials to the highest efficiency according to the target.
• Control the cost of production to meet the standards of each product.
• Reduce production costs, waste and apply technology to increase productivity and OEE.
• Control and participate in activities that promote the production of 5S, GMP, HACCP.
• Controlling manpower under cost management.
• Ensure KPIs are met by working to the overall plan, including management of, and reporting. Overall People development and management.
• Responsible and work in accordance with the procedures, quality management standard and food safety management including supporting the certification system in all standards.
• Oversee incidents, accidents and non-conformity investigations and associated reporting and action closure.
• Other duties as assigned by the management team.
Requirements
• Requires a Bachelor’s Degree or above in Engineering or related field.
• Background of at least minimum of 10 years on operating the factory in the management level of the plastic packaging company both injection mold and stretch blow mold management. Or Significant work experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment, preferably packaging or automotive.
• Experiences in ISO 9001, FSSC 22000, ISO 22000, HACCP, GMP and 5S (the workplace organization methods) standards.
• TQM Management System Standard.
• Good command of written and spoken English.
• Proven track record within manufacturing management.
• Ability to lead the team in order to produce quality materials within tight timeframes.
• Experienced with a number of systems, SAP, expert in at least one area and working knowledge of a number of other areas of specialization.
• Understanding of design and production costs to include waste, downtime, scrap and re-work.
