About this position

The Material Development Supervisor/Asst. Manager is responsible for developing and improving packaging for consumer and chemical products, ensuring efficient production and cost-saving initiatives.

Responsibilities

• To develop New/Improve packaging for Consumer and Chemical product.
• Follow-up packaging materials during the trial production phase and packaging guidance at the production end.
• Evaluate package material including quality trouble shooting to support efficient production and smoothly launching.
• Co-operate with related department to establish New/Improvement of product and initiate ideal for cost saving.
• Testing and evaluation of new packaging material including improve packaging quality.
• Develop packaging new technology and environmentally friendly innovation.
• Prepare document and process to support start production and follow ISO system.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree of Packaging Technology, Polymer Engineering/Science, Material science or related field
• At least 3 years’ experience in packaging technology, package engineering, package development.
• Good at written & spoken English skilled and computer literacy.
• Computer skills (Microsoft office, SAP program)
• Display teamwork attitude and result oriented.
