About this position

The SAP Basis (BCH) position involves managing and maintaining SAP systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain SAP systems, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
• Perform system monitoring, performance tuning, and troubleshooting of SAP Basis-related issues.
• Implement and manage SAP upgrades, patches, and enhancements.
• Administer and maintain databases including Microsoft SQL, MySQL, and other relational databases.
• Monitor database performance, implement tuning recommendations, and ensure data integrity and security.
• Perform database backups, restores, and disaster recovery operations.
• Manage and support Windows and Linux servers, ensuring their optimal performance and availability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve system-related issues, and implement security measures.
• Manage IT infrastructure both On-Premises and On-Cloud (such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
• Ensure high availability and reliability of the IT infrastructure, implementing redundancy and failover strategies.

Requirements

• Must have 3 years of proficiency in SAP Basis administration and management.
• Strong knowledge of database management systems such as Microsoft SQL, MySQL, and other relational databases.
• Experience in managing Windows and Linux server environments.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Knowledge of network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.
