Demand & Stock Planning officer
About this position
The Demand & Stock Planning Officer is responsible for production scheduling, demand and inventory management, reporting and analysis, supply chain coordination, and continuous improvement within the supply chain management framework.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities :
• Develop and maintain production schedules for industrial or commercial products.
• Analyze specifications, capacity, and resources to optimize manufacturing processes.
• Ensure accurate demand planning for supplier production.
• Monitor production materials, semi-finished, and finished goods inventory.
• Address excess, aging, and obsolete stock to minimize write-offs.
• Manage inventory records and align with customer requirements.
• Generate daily, weekly, and monthly reports for local, regional, and global SCM teams.
• Develop high-quality reports to enhance process and inventory management.
• Regularly update master schedules and SOPs based on departmental inputs.
• Issue purchase orders and manage import shipments to ensure timely delivery.
• Collaborate with Customs, 3PL providers, shipping agents, warehouses, and sales teams for smooth cargo clearance and unloading.
• Participate in SCM programs to enhance process flow, improve data accuracy, and reduce manual reporting.
Requirements
Requirements :
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years experiences in demand planning, supply chain, inventory management, or a related field.
• Good command in English (both written and spoken).
• Familiarity with production scheduling software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office (Excel proficiency is a plus).
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
• Able to work under pressure with positive attitude and service mindset.
• Team player with attention to detail.
