Regional Procurement Operations Manager (Packaging Material)
About this position
We are seeking a Regional Procurement Operations Manager for Packaging Material, who will lead the development and implementation of regional procurement strategies. The role focuses on maximizing procurement value through market analysis, supplier negotiations, and contract management while ensuring compliance with procurement standards.
Responsibilities
• Strategy & Market Analysis: Conduct regular market research to define and implement regional procurement strategies. Provide local insights for broader strategies and support the continuous improvement of processes.
• Supplier Negotiation & Contracting: Negotiate terms with suppliers, focusing on cost efficiency, quality, and risk management. Manage contract handling for both ongoing and project-specific needs.
• Project Management: Represent Procurement in regional projects, ensuring delivery aligns with set targets. Oversee related data management in SAP.
• Compliance & System Management: Ensure adherence to legal and internal standards. Maintain accurate spend data and key performance indicators.
• Supplier Management: Select and evaluate suppliers to minimize risks. Foster relationships to drive innovation and maintain high standards of service.
• Process Development: Collaborate globally and locally to enhance category processes for long-term competitiveness.
Requirements
• Education: University degree required.
• Experience: 8-10 years in relevant industries, with at least 4 years in Procurement. International and cross-functional experience is a plus.
• Skills: Strong negotiation, communication, and project management skills. Fluent in English; additional languages are an advantage.
