Project Engineering Manager
About this position
The Project Engineering Manager is responsible for leading specific project assignments to ensure successful delivery in terms of quality, safety, cost, and time, while managing stakeholder relationships and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
Responsibilities
Project Management:
• Lead and undertake specific project assignment to ensure successful project delivery in term of quality, safety, cost & time
• Develop work plan & strategy and establish coordination with all relevant functions
• Regularly update project status and providing meeting minutes to all relevant functions
• Perform project risk assessment and develop mitigation plan
• Lead and manage machine design review process with all relevant functions
• Provide support during project conceptual & feasibility phase
• Complete project documentation, transfer knowledge to production, maintenance and relevant staffs, and complete/update documentations.
• Provide technical knowledge/recommendation to improve/deliver project
Quality, Safety, & Environment:
• Ensure compliance to company safety, quality, and environmental procedure & standard to promote quality and safe work place.
Change Management:
• Complete project change control process and provide risk assessment document
• Provide process validation documents (IQ, OQ, and PQ).
Stakeholder Management:
• Ensure effective coordination & communication with both internal & external stakeholders
• Identify & prioritize key internal stakeholders, and keeping them informed
• Address issues & resolve conflict situations arise in the project in order to achieve project goal.
• Establish and maintain positive and effective working relationships within project team and relevant functions
Requirements
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (or higher).
• At least 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment (FMCG experience is a plus).
• Strong skills in Project, Change, and Stakeholder Management.
• Proficient in safety standards (GMP, PSM, HAZOP) and tools like AutoCAD and MS Office.
• Fluent in English with excellent communication skills.
