R&D Executive
About this position
Responsibilities
• Initiate, lead, and manage R&D project execution, focusing on breakthrough research areas aligned with new technologies, products and processes.
• Execute of collaborative projects with partners as well as handover of technology spin-in.
• Discover information about new raw materials / suppliers.
• Nutripedia: cooperate to keep our library of raw materials updated.
• Creative new product and conduct sensory evaluation to ensure to meet customer needs and business model.
• Trial raw materials for running products and manage inventory.
• Trial products in pilot plant, customer's plant and on site. Not limited to Customer’s request but also on proactive basis.
• Record tests results with data, pictures and video where possible.
• Monitor the quality control system according to GHP, HACCP, quality assurance standard including Hygiene.
• Support Marketing and Product Development in introduction of new innovative ingredients from customer requirements to the final solution.
• Control all of new products compliance with food safety, regulation and consumer requirement.
• Develop technical skills and leadership capabilities of development team.
• Cooperate with crossfunctional team and help the team to prepare technical documents assess raw materials / blends and their classification.
• Control R&D lab expenses and record the general expenses and particular basis by specific project.
• To be responsible for other duties provided by Superior.
Requirements
• Bachelor degree in Chemistry or related discipline.
• At least 3-5 years experience in Chemist, R&D.
• Knowledge of implementing, maintain and continuously improving Laboratory and Process.
• Experience in quality systems e.g. GHP, HACCP, FSSC.
• Good command of written and spoken English communication.
• Good Attitude and Interpersonal skills.
• Good skills of MS Office e.g. MS Excel, MS Word etc.
