About this position
Responsibilities
• Develop and implement cost control strategies and plans
• Analyze and monitor cost data
• Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities
• Prepare and present cost reports
• Work with engineers to design and implement cost-effective manufacturing processes
• Collaborate with procurement professionals to negotiate favorable supplier contracts
• Stay up-to-date on the latest cost accounting methodologies and best practices
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in cost accounting or a related field
• Experience with cost management software, such as SAP or Oracle
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
