Accountant
About this position
The Accountant position involves overseeing the general ledger and accounting functions, ensuring financial accuracy, and supporting decision-making through financial analysis.
Responsibilities
• Oversee day-to-day operations of the general ledger and accounting functions (all module AP, AR, GL, FA and Inventory)
• Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial statements, journal entries, and reconciliations.
• Handle petty cash payments. Ensure payments are accurately processed and comply with company policy. Responsible for control of petty cash including performing petty cash reconciliation.
• Responsible for managing the weekly cashflow forecast of project.
• Manage month-end, year-end closing process, including review and analysis of financial data.
• Collaborate with internal departments to provide financial information and support for decision-making.
• Monitor and analyze accounting data to identify discrepancies and resolve issues promptly.
• Assist in the preparation of financial reports, budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis.
• Stay updated on changes in accounting regulations and standards, ensuring compliance.
• Support external audits and provide necessary documentation and explanations.
• To perform other related duties as assigned or other tasks as may require.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance
• CPD is required.
• Proven work experience 5-6 Years in accounting.
• Good command of written and spoken communication in English
• In-depth knowledge of accounting
• Experience in dealing with audits (full process)
• Ability to multitask, prioritize assignments, and work under pressure to meet deadlines
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
