Account Manager - Laboratory Chain & Research (Central Java - Based)
About this position
Responsibilities
• Achieve profitable sales growth through implementation of business strategy, marketing plans, pricing policies, promotional programs and customer service initiatives within his/her own accounts as well as identifying new opportunities within those accounts.
• Ensure customers are satisfied with our products and services and resolve any issues promptly.
• Promote BD products and services at all levels of each account organization.
• Provide feedback on market trends, competitor activity and changes in customer needs.
• Assist with training and educating staff on BD products and services.
• Coordinate the implementation of clinical trials, training sessions, symposiums etc.
• Implement quality control procedures and practices including managing complaints.
• Plan and organize product demonstrations, seminars, conferences, trade shows and other events.
• Identify tender opportunities and prepare submissions.
• Communicate regularly with key opinion leaders and thought leaders in respective therapeutic areas.
• Monitor local advertising and promotion activities to ensure compliance with regulations and company policy.
• Represent BD at professional meetings and associations as appropriate.
Requirements
• Minimum Bachelor Degree (S1) in Biomedical Sciences or equivalent.
• 5 years relevant experience in medical devices industry.
• Previous working experience in hospital setting will be added advantage.
• Strong knowledge of medical device industry.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in teams.
• Good negotiation skills.
• High level of computer literacy.
• Fluent English.
