About this position

The Vice President - Corporate Accountancy is responsible for developing policies and strategies for accounting operations, ensuring compliance with standards and regulations, and providing technical guidance across BCPG’s entities.

Responsibilities

• Develop policy, strategy and accounting operation plan for proper accounting system and process to ensure that all related processes are well analyzed and managed to meet accounting, standard, system, rules and regulations.
• Direct all aspects of the general accounting function, including inter-company accounting (Lao), oversee all transaction related to general ledger, receivables, payables, fixed asset and financial reporting.
• Analyze complicated accounting data and produce complicated financial reports or statements and come up with appropriate recommendation.
• Oversee and monitor accounting closing processes to meet accounting standard, system, rules and regulations.
• Ensure that internal controls and internal audit are compiled to at all time.
• Provide recommendations and communicate identified risk to management team.
• Provide technical accounting guidance and support to all of BCPG’s entities.
• Establish and initiate new practices and procedures to improve working process and enhance quality, efficiency and effectiveness of the Accounting function.
• Responsible for ensuring that all BCPG’s financial records are maintained and are in compliance with the company policies, Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) securities exchange commission and the stock exchange.
• Coordinate of internal and external audit and is responsible for the implementation of recommendations received from auditors.
• Set, manage and control Accounting’s department budget.

Requirements

• Bachelor Degree or Master (Preferable) in Accounting and Finance or any related fields.
• 10-15 years of experience in Accounting. At least 5 years of experience in management level.
• Strong knowledge of the Thai Revenue Code.
• Having Knowledge of intentional tax law.
• Demonstrated strong leadership, team building and advanced coaching skills.
• SAP experience is a plus.
• Good English skill.
