About this position

BAT is evolving into a global multi-category business focused on decreasing the health impact of its industry. They are seeking experienced professionals to join their mission as Sustainability Managers in Malang, Indonesia.

Responsibilities

Key Accountabilities Include
• Set and implement Sustainability programs as per global and local standards.
• Fulfill EHS Roadmap, FSSST, PROPER, BATEPEN, and MSDS requirements.
• Develop, implement, and monitor the EHS Pillar/DMS.
• Collect EHS data and input into systems like CR360, EIR, and regional systems.
• Lead EHS projects and ensure targets are met.
• Manage BAT Policy and Safety Audits.
• Deliver EHS training and manage EHS communication campaigns.
• Lead a team of 6-8 people and manage stakeholder relationships.

Requirements

Qualifications And Essential Attributes
• Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in Environmental Reporting, Sustainability, and Safety Requirements.
• Understanding of Incident Elimination, Emergency Response, and BCP.
• Experience with EHS Roadmap, FSSST, PROPER, BATEPEN, and MSDS requirements.
• Proficiency in EHS data collection and input systems (CR360, EIR, etc.).
• Ability to lead EHS projects and achieve targets.
• Experience in delivering EHS training and managing EHS communication campaigns.
• Familiarity with AWS audit, IWS WOW, and BAT Audit – Control Navigator and GRCC.
