About this position

BAT is evolving into a global multi-category business and is looking for a Sourcing Manager to develop and execute sourcing plans for all direct spend categories and logistics, ensuring compliance with global policies and standards.

Responsibilities

• Deliver the Co-Plan Savings Target to achieve Direct Savings and contribute to the Cost Reduction Program in accordance with agreed savings targets and payment term extension.
• Ensuring and driving sustainability policy and corporate social responsibility program (Ecovadis / Intertek).
• Support Portfolio, Marketing activities, NPI projects and continue to deliver the WMS localization journey/ Spec harmonization.
• Support compliance to Sanctions, Risk Assessment, SOBC / SoX Compliance to ensure the “Deliver with Integrity” agenda is achieved in line with a step change in controls & compliance.
• Conduct Supplier Performance Review for key suppliers and lead Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) with effective WMS Contingency Plan / Contract Management.
• Act as Single Point of Contact (SPOC) within the region, where required, and input into supplier business reviews.
• Facilitate negotiations for local suppliers within scope to ensure business continuity supply including contracts renewal is in place.
• Successful adoption of suppliers to the e-auction platform & Business analysis e.g., procurement positioning and spend analysis.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Economy, Business, Supply Chain or similar.
• Demonstrated ability in Procurement or other related experience with at least 5 years' of working experience.
• High level of Commercial Awareness and Project Management.
• Strong business insight and interpersonal & communication skills.
• A focus on service delivery and savings along with the ability to drive innovation and change.
• Knowledge of procurement processes, methods, and techniques, including advanced negotiation & influencing skills.
• Ability to perform in cross-functional, global, business environment and balance multiple tasks successfully.
• Detailed knowledge of supply market, supplier capabilities, competitor activity, and expected trends at a geographic.
• Familiar with e-auction.
