About this position

BASF Coatings (EC) is seeking a qualified candidate for the position of Technical Service Staff - Chinese Speaking on a 12-month contract in Thailand. The company has been operating in Thailand for over 50 years, providing a wide range of products and solutions across key industries.

Responsibilities

• Monitoring, record paint condition and report to customer.
• Monitoring production car units, record overall result and problem analysis.
• Monitoring material stock including incoming process, report to stakeholder and customer.
• Report overall activities to internal team, transfer information between day shift and night shift.
• Conducts line trial for new colors development and/or improvement.
• Be able to work alternative night shift, if required.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s in science or high school diploma in the related field.
• Preferable 1-3 years related working experience in coatings industry.
• Knowledge in coatings process, color match, basic measuring weight and calculation skill.
• Proficiency in both spoken and written Thai and Chinese (Mandarin) at a good level.
• Driving and own transportation.
