Assistant Manager - Sales, Emerging Accounts Thailand & Vietnam for Components & Formulations

Responsibilities

Sales development:
• Develop sales plan and control the operating budgets of business
• Prospect, secure and expedite orders with existing and new accounts, Develop new markets and new applications
• Conclude business contracts (sales, distribution, etc.) to maintain business growth

Market intelligence:
• Conduct studies/analysis on market trend, competitors, products’ applications and technology, service needs and initiate appropriate action plan
• Prepare market, industry trends, competitors, customers’ reports on a regular basis

Customer & distributor management:
• Maintain existing customers / account plans and improve business relationships & manage key accounts and distributors
• Provide prompt response related to quality, technical applications, inquiries, and other related issues
• Cooperate with functional team to ensure best product, service quality and good information flow and solve customer’s issues

Product and application:
• Conduct sales presentation, workshop, trade road show to promote products and their applications
• Participate in public relations, government & industry advocacy; marketing communication campaign (as needed)

Others
• Prepare sales performance report, and other relevant reports or duties as assigned from time to time

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or master’s degree in chemical engineering / business administration or related fields.
• At least 2-3 years of professional experience in sales or marketing ideally in both countries
• Comprehensive knowledge of customer management, pricing policy as well as a deep business and financial understanding
• Proven negotiation skills, excellent knowledge of Vietnamese, Thai and English
• Travel between two countries – Thailand and Vietnam
