About this position

The Production Engineer will support the Production Manager in the daily production of Polylines 1 & 2.

Responsibilities

• Deputizes for and support the Production Manager for the daily production of Polylines 1 & 2.
• To check completeness of the batch cards which use for daily production activities.
• To ensure production activities are running efficiently and effectively according to the cumulative reports.
• To conduct monthly Safety and Quality Management Meeting and to issue the Minutes of Meeting.
• To check completeness and availability of Safety equipment, which are needed for daily production activities/ operations.
• To check and revise whenever necessary Safety and Work Instruction every 6 (six) months.
• To check the changes made in the batch card prior to implementation in production and to monitor and report the result of changes.
• To prepare written procedures for trial, re-works, etc, which does not exist in batch card.
• To conduct daily production meeting with on-duty Shift Leader in the morning as well as to write Daily Operational Instruction for organizing the production activities.
• To follow-up preventive maintenance and calibration schedules, which is issued by Maintenance Department.
• To liaise projects done in production area with maintenance, to ensure change of management is implemented and closed properly.
• To suggest idea/ opportunity of improvements (such as lean manufacturing), process improvements, automation, etc. in production area.

Requirements

• Bachelor Degree of Chemical Engineering.
• Fresh graduate or 1-2 years in Chemical, Production & Process Engineering.
• MS Office, English proficiency. Strong conceptual, structured, analytical thinking.
• Strong process engineering design, equipment sizing & selection.
• Good knowledge in chemical process, knowledge in Quality and Environmental, Health, and Safety System.
• Multi discipline hands-on production experience.
