About this position

Responsible for coordination and control of technical work and preventive maintenance within the stream. Coordinates the day-to-day activities of maintenance workers to ensure that production equipment, machinery, or instruments function reliably and safely.

Responsibilities

• Driver for effective execution of maintenance tasks to ensure best possible availability of the assets. Prioritize and assign tasks so that the team’s resources are used effectively and that work schedules and targets are met.
• Supervise, organize and control the technician workflow as well as support production priorities and improve efficiencies.
• Manage maintenance work flow and spare parts inventory transactions using MAXIMO.
• Inspect completed work to check that repairs have been completed correctly and that machinery and equipment conform to specifications and safety standards.
• Monitor the condition of maintenance equipment, materials, parts, and tools that are used by maintenance workers in their day-to-day activities.
• Provide last line of defense for troubleshooting to assist technicians in more complicated repairs and problems.
• Report issues related to quality, safety, legal at the workplace to superior.

Requirements

• Education At least possess bachelor degree in Engineering.
• Language English - basic level Able to work in a team.
• Experience 5 years of specific experience in mechanical/electro-mechanical maintenance in a manufacturing environment (preferably food or process industry).
• 5 years supervisory experience with high level of mechanical aptitude.
• Knowledge - Proficient in Office applications and maintenance systems - PLC programming knowledge is an asset - Understand GMP, safety, food safety, quality, Halal and Environment standards and procedures.
