Safety Engineer
About this position
Responsibilities
• Provide guidance, training, and instruction on safety, security, and fire prevention to employees and contractors, and follow up on the training results according to the established plans.
• Control, implement, follow up, inspect, and analyze operations to ensure they align with the plans and government safety regulations.
• Oversee, inspect, promote, suggest, and support safety, security, and fire prevention measures in the operations of various departments to ensure safety and appropriateness for the nature of the work.
• Supervise and participate in investigating accidents or abnormal incidents to determine causes and establish corrective and preventive actions, and communicate the findings to employees.
• Supervise and ensure safety operations comply with government regulations, as well as coordinate and collaborate to achieve the highest level of safety.
• Create safety statistics to analyze trends and provide recommendations to promote safety activities.
• Measure and assess the working environment, certify or review documents and reports related to environmental inspections within the company.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
• Coordinate and supervise the establishment of the Occupational Safety, Health, and Environmental Committee, and follow up on and implement the committee's recommendations.
• Participate in conducting hazard analysis of production processes, assess risks, and develop a risk management program.
Requirements
• Possess a Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health, Safety, and Environment.
• Maintain a minimum GPA of 2.70.
• Exhibit a TOEIC score of 550 or higher.
• At least 1 year of experience in safety.
• Demonstrate expertise in safety management.
• Proficient in computer use, including MS Office.
• Strong command of both written and verbal English communication.
• Strong analytical thinking skills.
• Strong interpersonal, collaboration and communication skills.
