About this position
The Mechanical Engineer position involves maintenance work in the petrochemical industry, focusing on preventive maintenance plans, emergency repair strategies, and machinery design according to international standards.
Responsibilities
• Plan manpower and prepare sufficient materials, equipment, and tools to ensure that mechanical maintenance work is completed according to the scheduled plan.
• Develop preventive maintenance plans, emergency repair plans, and turnaround schedules for the mechanical systems.
• Analyze causes and solutions for problems in the mechanical system and Explore new technologies to apply with mechanical maintenance to improve work processes and reduce cost.
• Compile and summarize the expenses for maintaining the mechanical systems and prepare a budget plan in alignment with the maintenance and annual machinery improvement plans.
• Assist the manager in preparing manpower support for the maintenance department's operations, especially in emergencies, to restore normal or operational conditions.
• Monitor and assist the maintenance team by providing information and work methods. Also, coordinate with both internal and external departments to ensure smooth operations.
• Oversee and manage the installation of mechanical systems, chemical piping systems, and chemical tanks to ensure they meet installation standards and project specifications. Additionally, participate in testing the machinery to ensure it is safe, environmentally friendly, and energy-efficient, thereby supporting the project's goals for safety, accuracy, adherence to timelines, and budget compliance.
• Create and maintain documentation related to maintenance work in accordance with the company's quality system standards.
Requirements
• Possess a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Maintain a minimum GPA of 2.70.
• Exhibit a TOEIC score of 550 or higher.
• At least 2-3 years of experience in maintaining mechanical systems in petrochemical industry plants.
• At least 2 years of experience in project management related to petrochemicals and Installation of mechanical systems, piping systems, and chemical tanks.
• Computer literate and Proficient in MS-Office.
• Proficiency in both written and verbal English communication.
• Strong analytical thinking skills.
• Strong interpersonal, collaboration and communication skills.
