Bangkok Synthetics Co., Ltd. (BST) was established in 1991 as a pioneer of C4 business in Thailand from mixed C4 feedstock supply by Olefins plants, under the second stage of the national petrochemical industrial development program initiated by the Thai Government. At present, the Company is the largest producer of mixed C4 products in the Southeast Asian Region. BST debuted commercial operations in 1995 and expanded its production capacity in 1998 to correspond to the increasing demand in petrochemical industry. The Company’s products include Butadiene, Butene-1,MTBE and C4 Raffinates. These products are major raw materials of such downstream petrochemical industry as the manufacturing of synthetic rubbers and plastic resins,which are essential parts of our daily life in the form of medical devices, food containers, tires, shoes, auto parts,electric appliances, sports equipment, etc.

About this position

Manage the documentation for obtaining and renewing licenses from relevant government agencies for BST Group's businesses. Provide initial consultation and guidance to various departments on licensing issues and foster strong relationships with relevant public and private sector organizations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare documents for obtaining/renewing licenses, including applying for licenses from relevant government agencies within the scope of work.
• Submit applications for obtaining or renewing various permits from relevant agencies for BST Group's businesses.
• Organize and store important documents related to legal matters in a categorized database and disseminate them.
• Provide initial consultation and advice to various departments on license-related issues.
• Contact, schedule appointments, issue invitations, and manage the reception of government officials when necessary for factory inspections related to licensing.
• Create documents, conduct training, and provide education on legal compliance for company employees.
• Develop plans for renewing various permits, including setting up reminders before permit expiration through various systems to notify relevant departments.
• Coordinate, prepare, and submit reports/lists of permits to relevant departments.
• Foster good relationships with government and private sector organizations.
• Perform other duties as assigned by manager.

Requirements

• Possess a Bachelor's degree in any field.
• Maintain a minimum GPA of 2.70.
• Exhibit a TOEIC score of 550.
• 0-2 years of experience in petrochemical industry.
• Knowledge of laws related to petrochemicals.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Proficiency in document management systems and software.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively across departments.
