Business Analyst - Data Project Manager
About this position
The Business Analyst - Data Project Manager will leverage analytical skills to provide strategic recommendations, support data monetization, set KPIs, ensure data quality, and maintain data standards across the organization.
Responsibilities
Data Analysis and Insight Generation:
• Leveraging analytical and problem-solving skills, to provide strategic recommendations and drive data-driven decision making to address business needs.
• Translate data insights deliver the impactful presentations that showcase key findings from data analysis.
Data Monetization:
• Collaborate with assigned business users to support data monetization use cases.
• Take ownership of parts of the end-to-end project related to data product development, ensuring alignment with business goals.
KPI Setting and Data Quality:
• Assist in setting KPIs and oversee data source quality based on business user requirements.
• Take ownership of parts of the end-to-end project related to KPI setting and data source quality, ensuring consistent data accuracy and integrity.
Standardization and Maintenance:
• Support in setting standards and supervising master data standardization and maintenance across the organization.
• Take ownership of parts of the end-to-end project related to standardization and maintenance to ensure data consistency across various platforms.
Service Operation:
• Support in the service operation of existing and future data products.
• Take ownership of parts of the service scope related to data product operation, ensuring efficient data delivery and troubleshooting.
Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Engineering, Business Administration, MIS, IT, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience working as a strategy consultant, media/marketing consultant, research consultant, analytic consultant, or in a similar role.
Required Skills:
• Intermediate proficiency in SQL and Python for querying, analyzing, and extracting insights from datasets.
• Skills in MS Excel, Tableau for generating and presenting data insights to business users.
• Strong proficiency in MS PowerPoint for effective communication and presentation.
• Strong proficiency in English, both written and verbal.
Additional Preferable Skills:
• Experience analyzing CRM data and transaction data.
• Experience analyzing social media and/or online advertising data.
• Experience analyzing market research data.
• Strong project ownership and the ability to manage and deliver projects effectively.
• Ability to work 100% onsite, Monday - Friday during business hours.
