About this position
Responsibilities
• Manage & support a team of Private Bankers to achieve agreed financial targets
• Provide support & guidance to Private Bankers on their day-to-day responsibilities; including meeting high-priority clients when necessary
• Implement sales strategies to drive performance, and ensure team provides consistent and high-quality investment advisory, building clients' confidence and trust in the bank's capabilities
• Motivate Private Bankers and help to develop the Private Banking business
• Provide coaching, support and onboarding of Private Bankers to team
• Lead the overall client development planning with the Private Bankers and orchestrate the introduction of new products
• Ensure team's adherence to process and policy requirements
• Oversee operations of Private Banking team; provide checks and balances
• Ensure proper advisory procedures and documentation
• Coordinate with related departments in marketing, client servicing, and product development
• Support Head of Private Banking to develop the overall strategy for the unit
• Be the key point of contact and cultivate long-term mutually beneficial client relationship with in-depth understanding of clients' situation, objectives, and risk profiles
• Provide customized Wealth advisory solution with optimal asset allocation model and access to a variety of invest products based on their investment objectives
• Perform portfolio review to ensure it's well-positioned given clients' investment objectives and market conditions
• Collaborate with specialists from within BBL and its subsidiaries to provide effective in-depth advisory and product knowledge based on clients' needs
• Achieve financial targets by enhancing existing and acquiring new client relationships
• Train Junior RMs under coaching program
• Coordinate with related departments in marketing, client servicing, and product development
• Comply with bank policies & procedures, code of conduct and all regulations / notices / guidelines issued by the Bank of Thailand and the Securities Commission of Thailand
Requirements
• Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
• License: IP License, Life and Non-Life License are required
• At least 5 years of experience in Private Banking is a must
• Knowledge of financial instruments, credit and business analysis, industry analysis.
• Outstanding personal and professional relationship within the affluent segment
• Excellent client- and service -orientation as well as outstanding communication skills
• Strong financial product knowledge and technical competence in the understanding, development, and delivery of holistic wealth planning solutions
• Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills
• Problem-solving attitude
• Proven track record in client acquisition and management of wealth for clients is essential
