About this position

The Laboratory Technician position at Bangchak Sriracha PLC involves ensuring quality control and conducting various tests in accordance with established standards and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Strictly follow ISO/IEC 17025, Quality Practices, and data integrity assurance framework requirement (DIAF)
• Implementing quality control systems according to ISO 9001, ISO14001, ISO45001 and supporting other systems.
• Carry out all routine, non-routine and products tests required by related parties according to Standard Test Method, Laboratory Procedure, Laboratory System and Approved test method.
• Generates the result accurately, timely and honestly.
• Ensure the data and records are kept securely per Company policies.
• Ensures that all samples are properly handled and retained according to procedures.
• Operate the test equipment with care to maintain its accuracy and reliability.
• Carries out a basic trouble shooting and calibration of laboratory testing equipment.
• Research and development for New Asphalt grade and alternative of Emulsion raw material.

Requirements

• Vocational level / Diploma / Bachelor's in chemistry, Industrial Chemistry, Petroleum chemistry, Chemical Practice or related field.
• At least 1-3 years of experience in Petroleum testing or Asphalt / Emulsion testing or a relevant field.
• Flexibility in working hours (Able to work as shift Day, Night and Overtime)
• Ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently, and in a timely fashion.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent practical, analytical, and laboratory skills.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
