Sales Lead Upstream Chemical
About this position
Responsibilities
You will be responsible for:
• Lead and drive the Sales team and activities pro-actively for all existing and potential opportunities within the Indonesian Oilfield Industrial Chemicals (OIC) market
• Develop strong relationships with strategic Energy Sector customers, both end-users and targeted channel partners
• Investigate supply chain solutions to the local geography to increase commercial competitiveness and enhance continuity.
• Deliver as a minimum the financial plan as submitted and agreed during the planning cycle and sequentially grow Indonesia and adjacent countries as required.
• Marketing specifically. Understanding it and positioning us to win.
Requirements
To be successful in this role you will:
• BSc in Chemistry or equivalent as minimum qualification
• Minimum 5 years operational & sales experience in Oilfield Industrial Chemicals business / Chemicals to the Oil and Gas industry
• Requires detailed knowledge and understanding of the Oilfield Chemicals business.
• Strong existing relationships with Oil and Gas customers (Upstream/Downstream) in Indonesia essential.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Good personal discipline, planning and organizational skills.
• Flexibility, enthusiasm and commitment.
• Willing to travel within APAC in support of business opportunities.
