HR Manager
About this position
The Human Resources Manager for Babcock Power Thailand Limited (BPTL) will provide support to all BPTL employees. The main areas of focus for this position will include recruitment, compensation planning, benefits administration, performance management, employee recognition, and legal compliance.
Responsibilities
• Lead recruitment effort for new BPTL employees. Work with Vogt and BPTL management to ensure open positions are filled in timely manner by qualified candidates. Incumbent must have experience in an engineering/industrial company environment. Working with functional managers, help define position roles, responsibilities, skill/experience requirements and success factors, develop interviewing and selection process.
• Administer benefit programs including open enrollment meetings, new hire set up
• Work with Babcock Power benefits team to evaluate new and maintain current and future benefit plans. Must be aware of market to determine appropriateness and competitiveness of benefit offerings. Review options and recommend alternatives to Corporate.
• Coach managers in managing employees to develop talent within the organization, ensure appropriate and consistent performance measures, and deal with any performance issues.
• Become a trusted advisor to managers while balancing role of employee advocate.
• Work with leadership to define and develop the culture of the organization.
• Ensure terminations have appropriate documentation to minimize risk of labor claims
• Administer performance management process
• With functional managers, create and maintain standard training program and individual development plan for each employee.
• Conduct market salary surveys and assess pay practices within organization.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, both Thai and English
• 3-5 years Human Resources Management experience, preferably in an engineering/technical environment
• Strong talent acquisition skills and experience
• Experience administering compensation and benefit plans.
• Consultative skills working with managers on organizational development initiatives
• Knowledge of relevant employment laws and practices
• Experience in Microsoft Office tools and other HR related systems
