ADTS (Engin/Chem/Spec)
About this position
The ADTS will work with other members of the application development team to innovate and/or modify products including liquid/solid additive and all bioplastic masterbatch to enhance the product performance, improve quality and processing/cost competitiveness in order to meet the customer requirement and company direction.
Responsibilities
• Initiate and develop new products for white/additive and bioplastic in solid/liquid masterbatches to meet customer requirement.
• Customer engagement includes customer visits, training, meeting for new project/opportunities with sale/TSE to ensure we get the right information for development further and be able to enhance the business opportunities to the company.
• Collaborate with PM Additive for new product development (NPD) in technical aspects e.g., formulate, testing, trial, technical information to ensure NPD launch in time.
• Provide 'Technical product information (TPI)' as well as other technical information, documents to commercial team and customer.
• Conduct any Technical Application Request (TAR) that related to new project/product development to meet customer/project on time.
• Collaborate with supplier for getting new competitive with good quality of raw material, equipment, and technology to apply with our field.
• Evaluate new raw material to ensure the product performance and competitiveness or can be our innovation products.
• Collaborate to other regions for product and technology transfer.
• Provide technical training internally and externally for new products and existing products.
• Production, QC/QA and SCM team support.
• To assist in troubleshooting of any operational problem that occur in production and suggest the solution.
• To assist and give suggestion in customer complaint to find possible root cause and make preventive action.
• To co-operate with sourcing team on finding alternative raw materials to produce product with good quality and deliver on time.
• To give some guidance for processing and critical control points for QC and production for smooth lab transfer to production.
• To participate the ISO/5S/Safety program including documents, workshop, and audit.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Polymer Science, Chemical Engineer, Polymer Engineer, or Polymer Technology.
• At least 3-5 years working experience in related field with supervision skill.
• Self-learning and creative thinking, flexible and can work or handle multi tasks effectively.
• Good attitude to be able to cooperate with other departments positively.
• Good communication skills internal and external.
• Be able to provide feedback, follow up and ensure the task is done effectively.
• Be able to lead and supervise team to contribute result to hit company targets.
