About this position

A Financial Analyst is responsible for managing the financial consolidation, analysis, and reporting processes for the Asia region. This role ensures financial processes are aligned with corporate policies, contributes to process improvements, and supports strategic initiatives including mergers and acquisitions (M&A).

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities
Financial Consolidation and Reporting:
• Lead the monthly consolidation of business unit financials into the Asia Group finance reports.
• Liaise with the Finance Business Partner, Asia, to prepare and deliver financial reports to Executive Management, highlighting key metrics, risks, and opportunities across the region.

Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A):
• Drive the continuous improvement of financial tools and models to enhance the analysis of variances, identification of trends, and performance drivers.
• Provide actionable insights to support regional decision-making and streamline financial planning and analysis activities across Asia.

Compliance And Process Alignment
• Monitor and ensure alignment of financial processes across Asia with company policies, internal controls, and regulatory requirements.
• Implement financial controls and ensure adherence to corporate financial standards.

Process Improvement And Special Projects
• Participate in various finance-led process improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
• Contribute to special projects, including mergers and acquisitions (M&A) activities and other ad-hoc assignments as requested by senior leadership.

Requirements

Fields of Education and Professional Experiences
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (Master’s degree or professional certifications such as CPA/CFA are a plus).
• 5-7 years of experience in financial analysis, consolidation, and reporting, preferably in a regional or multinational setting.
• Advanced proficiency in financial software and tools (e.g., Excel, ERP systems).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results under pressure.
• Alternative experience demonstrating high levels of analytical and communication skills will be considered.
• Excellent spoken and written English is required.
