About this position
The Mixologist at Avani Chaweng Samui Hotel & Beach Club is responsible for innovating and developing a diverse range of beverages, delivering exceptional guest experiences, and ensuring efficient bar operations while maintaining high standards of quality and compliance.
Responsibilities
• Beverage Development: Innovate and develop a diverse range of beverages that align with our brand’s standards, ensuring they are both creative and appealing to our guests.
• Guest Experience: Deliver exceptional service, ensuring that every guest interaction is handled with grace, courtesy, and efficiency. You will uphold our standards of quality in every drink served.
• Bar Operations: Ensure that all bars are professionally set up, stocked, and ready for service at all times. This includes overseeing the cleanliness, organization, and appearance all the bar areas.
• Cost and Stock Control: Manage inventory and stock levels to maintain optimal costs and prevent wastage. You will be responsible for ordering supplies, tracking inventory, and ensuring that all stock is utilized efficiently.
• Quality Control: Maintain the highest standards of quality in all beverages served, regularly reviewing and refining recipes, ingredients, and presentation to ensure consistency and excellence.
• Compliance: Adhere to and enforce the Beverage Department Standard Operating Procedures and Beverage Manual, ensuring that all practices meet legal and company requirements.
• Team Leadership: Lead and inspire the bar team, providing training, mentorship, and support to ensure that all members perform at their best.
Requirements
• Education: College Diploma in Hotel/Event Management or a related field.
• Experience: Proven experience in a leadership role within the Food & Beverage or Events industry, with a strong background in bar management.
• Leadership: Demonstrated passion for leadership and teamwork, with the ability to inspire and manage a team effectively.
• Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail, ensuring operational excellence in all aspects of the bar’s performance.
• Guest Service: Exceptional guest service and sales skills, with a focus on creating memorable experiences for our patrons.
• Operational Skills: Strong capabilities in cost control, stock management, and quality assurance, ensuring that the bar operates efficiently and profitably.
