About this position

The Commis - Bakery is responsible for maintaining high standards of health and safety in the kitchen, producing creative dishes, and effectively communicating with the team.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high standards of health and safety
• Produce creative and excellent dishes
• Communicate effectively with other kitchen team members
• Receive constructive criticism gracefully
• Carry out orders effectively
• Remain calm while multi-tasking
• Perform basic tasks of food preparation and organization in the kitchen
• Support others in creating excellence in their areas of responsibility

Requirements

• High School degree
• Previous experience in a Food & Beverage/Restaurant operations role
• Passion for teamwork
• Excellent guest service skills
• Knowledge of basic preparation, presentation, and preservation of food
• Basic knowledge of hygiene and safety procedures
