Process Engineer, PLC
About this position
The Process Engineer, PLC will lead process engineering efforts within the Industrial Engineering Department and AMC, focusing on automation and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
• Lead process engineering within the Industrial Engineering Department and AMC.
• Support line automation and continuous process improvements, adhering to all company policies and procedures.
• Achieve policy deployment targets through continuous follow-up.
• Standardize methods of working and planning within the team.
• Support APS implementation and actively participate in APS workshops.
• Assist in the APDS process, LMPU, and cycle time improvements.
• Prepare and revise process documentation (Flow Chart, PFMEA, Work Instructions).
• Ensure timely and budget-compliant new launches.
• Prepare for process trials and builds.
• Implement new jigs and fixtures.
• Support new line setups, providing necessary production data for QAD system setup and ICAN updates.
• Maintain and implement essential methods, systems, and routines.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electromechanical Engineering.
• 10 years of relevant experience in a regulated industry.
• Experience in developing, executing, and reviewing equipment and process validation activities.
• Proficiency in statistical analysis, root cause analysis, and structured problem-solving.
• Experience with semi-automated processes in a manufacturing setup.
• Knowledge of PLC.
