About this position

The QC Specialist (Gem/Diamond) position is open to new graduates and involves inspecting the quality of gemstones, preparing inspection reports, and using specialized equipment for diamond examination.

Responsibilities

• Inspect the quality of loose gemstones and Certificate of Gemstones
• Inspect the quality of settings and gemstones
• Inspect gemstones using Presidium, Smart Pro, Screen I machines
• Prepare workpieces for inspection, record gold percentage, and store data
• Generate daily inventory reports in the QC department, request and store items in the safe
• Inspect gemstones using a diamond microscope

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Gemology or related field with knowledge in gemstones
• Knowledge in gemstones (diamonds)
• Willing to accept new graduates or with 1 year of work experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Power Point
• Able to work Monday to Friday (alternate Saturdays) from 09:00-18:00
