Project Manager (Product)
About this position
The Project Manager (Product) will lead the product development team, ensuring the creation and execution of new product ideas while managing the entire New Product Development process from inception to completion.
Responsibilities
• Lead the product development team in creating and executing new product ideas.
• Track end-to-end phases of all New Product Development (NPD) from the project’s initial briefing to its fruition.
• Study the feasibility of production and collaborate with the procurement department to source, verify, and audit potential OEM/suppliers/partners to match NPD requirements and objectives.
• Establish and improve standards for raw materials, packaging, production processes, product quality, and allocating budgets.
• Maintain the stock and MRP dashboard to oversee supply chain and plan yearly orders focusing on negotiating with suppliers to maintain profitability.
• Plan yearly product strategies, including product launches, cost analysis, and budgeting.
• Analyze product performance, prepare reports, and provide suggestions on discontinuing underperforming products plan.
• Collaborate with compliance and legal teams to draft contracts between OEMs and the company.
• Solve complex challenges related to product development and supply chain management that may occur or affect the NPD timeline.
Requirements
• At least 4-5 years' work experience with proven experience in product development, project management and supply chain management.
• Strong negotiation skills, pricing strategy expertise, and contract management.
• Advanced problem-solving skills, detail-oriented and results-driven.
• Leadership and team management experience and analytical skills for product performance analysis.
