About this position

Lead the procurement process for construction, maintenance projects, and construction materials. This role ensures that procurement supports the company's expansion strategy by selecting high-quality vendors and closely monitoring their performance throughout project execution.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:
• TOR and Bidding Process Management: Collaborate with the expansion team to develop comprehensive Terms of Reference (TOR) for construction and maintenance projects. Lead the bidding process, ensuring clarity, competitiveness, and compliance, while managing vendor inquiries and proposal submissions.
• Vendor Selection and Evaluation: Conduct thorough vendor assessments, evaluating technical capabilities, experience, and cost competitiveness. Provide detailed comparisons and recommendations to stakeholders, ensuring the selection of vendors best suited to meet project requirements and timelines.
• Vendor Monitoring and Performance Evaluation: Work closely with the expansion and project teams to monitor vendor performance, ensuring they meet quality standards, timelines, and contractual obligations. Conduct regular evaluations and provide feedback to maintain high vendor performance throughout the project lifecycle.
• Order and Contract Management: Oversee the procurement and contracting process, ensuring that purchase orders and contracts are accurately executed. Monitor delivery schedules, service installations, and payment milestones, and address any deviations from agreed-upon terms.
• Delivery and Installation Coordination: Coordinate with vendors to ensure timely delivery and installation of materials and services. Resolve any issues related to delays, discrepancies, or quality concerns, working closely with the expansion team to keep projects on track.
• Data Maintenance and Reporting: Maintain accurate and detailed records of procurement activities, including vendor evaluations, bidding outcomes, and contract performance. Provide regular reports to support decision-making and future procurement strategies.
• Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Serve as a liaison between the procurement, expansion, and project management teams, ensuring clear communication and alignment of goals. Support project teams by providing procurement insights and ensuring the smooth execution of projects.
• Process Improvement and Strategic Support: Assist the Procurement Supervisor in identifying process improvements related to vendor selection, evaluation, and project monitoring. Support the development of procurement strategies that enhance efficiency and effectiveness in the expansion projects.

Requirements

Qualification:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
• 2-3 years of experience in procurement, with proven experience in vendor selection and management for construction or maintenance projects.
• Strong experience in managing the bidding process and working with multiple vendors.
• Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to assess vendor capabilities and provide data.
