About this position

The Accounting Team Lead/Assistant Manager is responsible for overseeing financial reporting, team management, and process improvement while ensuring high-quality medical services and fostering employee growth.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, in compliance with TFRS.
• Perform monthly and quarterly account reconciliations for general ledger accounts, bank accounts, and intercompany transactions.
• Prepare schedules and documentation for both internal and external audits. Assist with the implementation of audit recommendations.
• Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
• Assist with staffing and workload management within the accounting team.
• Identify areas for process improvement within accounting operations and collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement efficient workflows and systems.
• Lead the monthly and annual closing process to ensure accuracy and timely financial reporting.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting. CPA certifications are a plus.
• At least 2-3 years of experience in accounting.
• Leadership and team management experience.
