About this position

The Purchasing Engineer Supervisor is responsible for controlling material costs, coordinating with suppliers, and ensuring compliance with quality standards in the purchasing process.

Responsibilities

• Controlling new model material cost and coordinate with related sections.
• Contact local supplier for new model implement and trial sample.
• Coordinate about negotiations with supplier, and handle assessment.
• Request for quotation from supplier, compare cost and analyze.
• Supplier process change control and design change follow up.
• To prepare and control document follows customer requirement, ISO 9001, IATF 16949 and ISO 14001 and other system requirement.
• Control operation of direct and Indirect purchasing.
• Supervise purchasing staff to operate according to the principles of procurement and policy.
• Supplier Quality Improvement.
• Investigation and propose countermeasure for supplier's quality and delivery problem.
• Lead new supplier and annual supplier audit.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field.
• 5 years of Purchasing background in automotive business.
• Strong Knowledge of Purchasing.
• Good Attitude and Behavior.
• Well organized and able to work under high pressure.
• Problem solving skill.
• Good interpersonal skills, Service mind, Positive thinking.
• Familiar with SAP system and MS office (especially excel and PowerPoint).
• Familiar with IATF16949 and ISO 9001.
• English communication.
