Sales Engineer
About this position
The Sales Engineer is responsible for analyzing the market, identifying new sales opportunities, and providing technical solutions to customers while maintaining strong relationships and collaborating with various teams.
Responsibilities
• Perform analysis for own territory market and collect information about competition, potential market volume, current market share and customers’ feedback.
• Aggressively exploit the territory to identify new target customers and new sales opportunities.
• Cooperate with customer, collect customer’s needs, analyze the application and provide solution to satisfy customer's values.
• Build, maintain, broaden and strengthen good relationship with customers, distributors.
• Cooperate with marketing team in market activities and market analysis.
• Cooperate with service operations to achieve customer satisfaction.
• Job audit on work done to customers’ installations, particularly after overhaul activity.
• Provide technical expertise, including advisory capacity, to customers.
• Preparation of sales quotations and subsequent activities for full sales transactions.
• Compile and submit monthly reports on sales, lost orders, and competition.
• Cooperate with the department to improve the performance of receivables & overdue.
Requirements
• Bachelor's Degree or Higher in Engineering.
• Having over 2 years' experience in sales engineering or technical sales in compressor technique, high pressure, air pumps, hospital solutions, or any related fields.
• Good communication in English.
• Able to travel and visit customers on both domestic trips & overseas.
